We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Web and API Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team.

**Web & API Quality Assurance Tester (Australia, Brisbane)**

**Requirements**:
Mandatory
- Strong (5+ years) experience in web and API testing
- Knowledge of testing tools and methodologies, such as JIRA and Postman
- Experience with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Passion for the esports and video game industry
- Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment
- Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum environment

**Responsibilities**
- Manual Testing: Proactively engaging in the hands-on inspection of web apps to identify potential issues.
- Exploratory Testing: Demonstrating creativity and intuition to explore different parts of the product to uncover unforeseen issues.
- Usability Testing: Assessing the user interface and user experience to ensure intuitiveness, simplicity, and engagement for target users.
- Regression Testing: Ensuring the stability and consistency of existing features during the addition of new features or changes to the product.
- Cross-platform Testing: Ensuring seamless product functionality and experience across different platforms like PC, and mobile devices.
- Documenting Releases and Writing Release Notes: Providing comprehensive and clear documentation of software updates, changes, and potential impact.
- Writing and Implementing Test Cases and User Acceptance Tests (UAT): Designing comprehensive test scenarios and overseeing their execution to ensure the product meets the set requirements and user expectations.
- Providing Clear Testing Documentation and Evidence: Documenting the testing process and providing relevant evidence of testing results.
- Collaborating with Developers on Test Requirements: Working closely with the development team to understand the product requirements and align the testing process accordingly.
- Comparing Product Requirements/Designs with Developer Deliverables: Ensuring that the final product aligns with the initial design and requirements, and flagging any discrepancies.
- Navigating SQL and Mongo Databases: Using database management skills to search for specific data, understand system structures, or even identify potential data-related issues.
