GLG is seeking a Manager, Client Solutions to join the Finance team in Sydney. The Manager position is a key role within GLG where you will be working with distinctive clients comprising of leading corporations as well as State and Federal Government departments across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

**Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Day-to-day management, leadership and coaching of a team of client services professionals.
- Accountable for achieving revenue targets and managing the team to board-level key performance metrics.
- Responsible for creating and delivering the growth and service strategy for GLGs Corporate and government clients.
- Possesses the credibility and experience to build commercial and strategic relationships with C-Level executives.
- Ability to work in close collaboration with the GLG Country Head and the local Leadership team, consisting of Sales,
- Marketing and Event teams, and other GLG stakeholders to achieve Commercial Targets.
- Track team performance and create plans to accelerate growth and revenue near
- and long-term.
- Engage key constituents at clients as thought partners in-person and virtually, with a heavy focus on senior-level decision makers, in order to understand these clients’ work, differentiate the company’s brand, tailor value proposition to these critical influencers, and deliver best-in-class client service.
- Facilitate high-value engagements between GLG experts (including industry executives, independent consultants, academics, and former policy makers across all sectors) and our clients while maintaining industry-leading standards in Compliance. Engagements mainly consist of 1:1 telephone consultations, but may also consist of surveys, in-person meetings, panels, or other custom, in-depth engagements.
- Support the Sales team growing GLG client relationships in ANZ including new clients as well as senior stakeholders. This relationship development will stem from proactive phone outreach, project execution, post-project client feedback, and occasionally in-person client meetings in partnership with Sales.
- Coordinate closely with colleagues across company teams, particularly with stakeholders on client servicing and network development teams
- 5+ years of experience, ideally in consulting, banking, information services, market research, or other professional services or start-up environment
- Strong go-getter attitude and track record of business growth turnaround
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of client service professionals both strategically and tactfully.
- Successful track record of working in a fast-paced, client service environment with a passion for problem-solving and a consistent client-centric mindset
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and interest, in some or all the following areas: Sales, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals; and/or Business development, corporate development, product development, Product and project management
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills and willingness to engage senior professionals as knowledge and research partner.
