About this role

We are a growing and talented delivery team looking to make a difference in an evolving AGL. If you have experience in, or would like to work on, initiatives delivering across Regulatory, Cybersecurity and Transformation or if you have worked in industry regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, telecommunications, logistics or other infrastructure pillars in a similar capacity we would love to hear from you. Through our transformation efforts, you will help our business customers grow and evolve their understanding of the technologies we deliver, the security controls these technologies and processes provide, and how to navigate regulatory and compliance obligations in our industry. These compliance themes derive from internal security policies and standards, and from industry relevant security frameworks and legislation like the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF) and Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI). This role sits in the Security domain and the ability to support the team to deliver solutions will be evident from the knowledge and experiences you have collected by way of professional development and a keen interest in technology.

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships across internal customer and stakeholder groups, including but not limited to: cyber operations, cloud operations, regulatory reform programs, technology portfolio governance, procurement and generation site stakeholders.- In concert with the Program PMO, drive and provide delivery expertise into planning, definition, and governance across the projects and initiatives within the program,- Champion quality at each phase of the delivery cycle, so the end-to-end solution is consumable by operational teams and the intended value at onset remains part of the delivered outcome.- Proactively manage expectations and educate stakeholder groups on delivery trade-offs at key decision points and/or where there is contention between funding (cost), schedule (time), and requirements (scope).- Understand the role and value of governance and architecture, including drawing in key stakeholders to support or protect the wider objectives of the technology strategy. This role needs to lead the lead the cyber transformation of AGL as well as the improvement of technology outcomes in this organisation.- Evolve our security delivery discipline from an amalgamation of projects and initiatives being delivered to an orchestrated series of outcomes and milestones supporting the wider the transformation of our primary business customer (Cybersecurity Business Unit).- Coordinate and produce reporting at various levels including participation in Cybersecurity Leadership Team strategy workshops.- Advocate for initiatives and solutions to align with AGL IT principles and strategies, information security policies & standards, cyber security reference architectures / guardrails / patterns / use-cases, and track with keen intent the uplift of AGL’s security profile (SP) under the AESCSF.

About you:

The program of work is aligned to various cybersecurity domains with a number of Board visible initiatives giving it the support and momentum needed to be a fulfilling and fast paced role.
