**Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities**:
The Program Manager is a very senior delivery position with high visibility and the position will report to the client’s Senior Leadership Structure made up of Head Off’s and the Executive of Domain Delivery.
**Job Overview **The Senior Program Lead manages the full client programs for all incoming and the existing work that flows from the planning phase, initial requirements phase, funding allocation, ingestion conformance and insights phases. The role is an essentially a program manager role with end to end control of the delivery program with a number of RTE’s reporting into the role. The role has close matrixed control of the full lifecycle of teams to do end to end lake house hydration. The position requires strong program management experience, very good management of the schedule, risks and issues and a personality that can drive results to achieve dates on the program. In a complex and matrixed organization structure getting results is key. The person who is successful in this role will need a strong personality and strong stakeholder management skills to drive the required outcomes and be able to escalate early to get parts of the delivery and senior client executive to intervene as required to meet program dates.
**Responsibilities and Duties **The responsibilities, skills and duties of the Project Lead include:
- Leading a complex cross functional/cross component team;
- Be a single point of accountability to drive and meet program dates
- Be a single point of contact for all client interaction at the business stakeholder level, technical project manager/RTE teams and with senior executives looking for project outcomes.
- Be a single point of contact for reporting of program status - Proactively track RAG status and creating RAID plan;
- Manage the RTE’s
- Oversight the teams responsible across the program and drive to dates
- Track and publish the program schedule
- Actively manage dependencies and make sure dependencies, risks and issues are managed with tight control.
- If required be across daily stand ups to help resolve issues
- BE across RALLY information that may aid insights on the program
- Develop plans and resourcing needs as a part of program activity
- Oversight delivery team performance under the control of the RTE and drive results
- Influence business teams including source system teams to drive results
- Developing and maintaining communication and stakeholder management;
- If required help drive analysis and engagements with stakeholders;
- With the help of the RTE, utilizing individual strengths within the squad and ensuring that squad members work collaboratively to accomplish common goals;
- Ensuring that the squad heads in the right direction from a technical standpoint;
- Maintaining cross-functionality in the squad;
- Managing relationships with business teams and all senior stakeholders involved int eh program;
- Present at senior program/control boards on status and seek the right level of executive attention to get help if issues arise;
- Oversight RTE’s work and get regular updates on work to maintain a up to date program schedule
- Oversight Change and be across releases and technical escalations with teams
