Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is a luxurious five-star hotel located in the heart of Broadbeach. We are situated just 200m from patrolled beaches and our hotel features 296 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, all with breathtaking Pacific Ocean or Hinterland views. We offer a range of conference and function spaces to suit all style of events.

**Job Description**:
**What will you do**
- Execute function room set up and service to ensure client needs are met according to the event order
- Liaise with clients and guests for conferences, weddings and functions
- Ensure communication between Sales, F&B and Kitchen teams is seamless for the smooth implementation of events
- Work independently and as part of team
- Support the wider food and beverage team where required
**Qualifications**:
**What you need to be successful**
- Experience in an events or outlet role in a luxury hotel environment preferable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised and able to manage priorities
- A good understanding food & beverage
- Excellent knowledge and practise of food hygiene standards
- Exceptional guest service
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
