Job Description

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Officer** to join our friendly team in Horningsea Park. This is a full-time, office-based role—perfect for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Promptly and professionally handle Accounts Payable queries, escalating issues as needed
- Collaborate with the accounts team to achieve operational and team goals
- Perform monthly reconciliation of supplier/vendor statements
- Manage and resolve daily invoices, credit notes, and claims
- Communicate regularly with both suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain AP mail inboxes, ensuring timely action on all items
- Conduct ledger reconciliations and prepare related reports
- Accurately code and process non-stock invoices with appropriate approvals
- Ensure timely payment of suppliers
- Support the team with various administrative and ad-hoc tasks

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Minimum **3 years of experience** in an Accounts Payable role
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
