Regional HR Manager

The Newfold Digital Regional HR Manager is a cross-functional position, performing important HR work across the entire employee life cycle and is the glue to supporting employees and leaders across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Although this is a stand-alone role, you will be part of a Global HR Team.
The role will be focusing on the execution of our APAC people strategy which is built on driving operational excellence as well as delivering retention and engagement activities. This role is reporting to the Regional HR Director and will require strong generalist experience and independent decision making on a day-to-day basis.
What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.
- Managing all day-to-day HR queries for ANZ, SG& HK (100 employees)
- Managing core (global) HR processes across the employee life cycle Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management / Reviews, Coordination of Learning & Development Activities and HR Administration (Workday)
- Maintain and update documentation, policies and procedures
- Manage and maintain accurate employee files and records in Workday (HRIS) - Prepare and coordinate pay cycles and coordinate with payroll team
- Review Glint survey data and perform follow-up tasks based on analysis
- Coordinate quarterly sessions on engagement action planning
- Interpret attrition data and share and manage retention strategies with leaders
- Drive various People & Culture initiatives, events, projects across ANZ, SG & HK
- Providing support to the Regional HR Director (global initiatives, communication)
Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.
- Strong HR work experience (5+ years) preferably in a stand-alone Generalist role
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Solution focused with bias for action: you like to get things done and do them well
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 / Teams / Sharepoint / HRIS systems Ability to work under pressure, handling a wide variety of tasks
- Experience working with confidential matters
- Ability to organize projects and multi-task effectively and independently
- Proactive problem-solver who shows initiative and prepares solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement; understands needs, negotiate outcomes that are acceptable to both parties and provide deliverables as agreed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, comfortable in a highly matrixed organization
