Our people and culture team have been on a journey of transformation this year. We designed a new strategy and refreshed our operating model to support its delivery. We are now on the look out for an experience People Operations Specialist to join the P&C team in Melbourne or Sydney
About the opportunity
Reporting into the General Manager, People Operations your role will play a pivotal role in our employee lifecycle experience. As the first point of connection, you will filter and action employee enquiries for our People and Culture team which will range from payroll related questions to employee contract requests. You will also be responsible for our fortnightly payroll preparation ensuring it complies with superannuation and tax obligations.
The role will also have you managing and supporting administration tasks related to new employees and terminations.
You will also have the opportunity to work across reporting for our wider P&C team through PeopleHub (SuccessFactors) and will have the ability to recommend enhancements or gaps in the user experience to improve the employee experience from a system perspective. (While keeping people at the heart)
About you
First and foremost, you have a delivery mindset. You are comfortable working on multiple priorities, with multiple stakeholders and you have a high attention to detail. Reporting is your thing, and you have the ability and smarts to create reporting and dashboards with comments and analysis. Your verbal and written communication is strong and you are comfortable talking to confidential matters with ease and knowledge.
Ideally you have come from an administration role where you have had exposure to payroll in a HR function as you will need to understand payroll, HR legislation / awards and tax.
As a person you take your work but not yourself too seriously, you thrive in working with a close-knit team and you are your best when you are in a role where no 2 days are the same
