**Description**:
In this valued role you will report to Managing Director, Australia and be responsible for supporting and facilitating end to end technical and soft skills training needs across the business. Included in this will be facilitating the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of soft skills and technical learning solutions across Hydraulink and its network in Australia.

Managing our Hydraulink Academy, we strive for quality training which is engaging and meets learning outcomes. We are in need of an individual that is passionate about Learning and who has an effective and engaging presentation style, to support this objective.

In this varied role, you will also be required to be hands on and deliver face to face technical training on a regular periodic basis whilst working on a key number of exciting projects that are aligned with achieving the goals as set out in the Training Plan.

You will need a creative and growth mindset with the ability to pick up new processes, systems, and knowledge quickly. You will be experienced in instructional design and development, during a time where Hydraulink is experiencing significant growth and developing its Training to the next level.

Also needed is great relationship and time management skills and the ability to be flexible and prioritise changing workloads in a busy environment. Your positive attitude and strong customer focus will support our rapidly growing business.

**The Training Manager will also**:
Develop (create) and demonstrate a thorough understanding of course material content, conext, and relevance for program participants
Be responsible for the successful delivery and facilitation of our unique material including our 4 day Nationally accredited Competency Framework, including scheduling of the Training
Conduct follow up coaching/mentoring for staff, as required
Maintain Soft skills and Technical Training Material in LMS and for Face to Face Training
Be customer focused and able to develop effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate training courses including Booking and organising external trainers, training rooms and catering, issuing invitations and maintaining Training Attendance Records.
Establish training needs within the business and develop and implement relevant training programs.
Update and maintain the capability matrix.
Conduct training needs analysis that informs the development of learning and development programs focused on service excellence.

Ideally experience in the Hose and Fittings or a related industry (mechanical/automotive or similar)
Cert IV Training and Assessment (essential)
Demonstrated experience as an experienced trainer (essential)
Minimum 3 years training and development experience (essential)
Video and audio product development including managing/supporting the development program, filming, and editing of videos for course materials and virtual learning activities (Desired)
Experience in content authoring tools to support creation of e-learnings and training sessions
Willing to Travel as required.

This role has one direct report and is based in Smithfield, NSW (Australia), however, if the fit is right, we may consider other locations within Australia.
