**About the position**

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced trainer and assessor who wants to make a difference by supporting individuals to develop new industry skills and knowledge.

We are looking specifically for trainers and assessors to deliver training around the Sydney Metropolitan area, for the following qualifications:

- TLI30321 - Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations
- TLI31221 - Certificate III in Driving Operations
- TLI41321 - Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct training face to face and online training (virtual classroom) sessions.
- Provide academic support and mentoring for students
- Assess students knowledge and skills against defined marking criteria
- Record students participation, progress and assessment outcomes
- Participate in professional development activities
- Participate in validations and assessment moderation
- Participating in course development and review processes, including Industry consultation group

**To be considered for this role you must have**:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification in adult education.
- Vocational competence in the qualifications being delivered.
- Minimum 3 years of recent industry experience in transport and logistics, and/or supply chain operations.
- Evidence of professional development as a trainer and assessor.
- Experience with online learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivities when working with diverse groups of students.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence.
- Ideally you will also have experience in the development of training and assessment tools and strategies.
- Current BlueCard
