**Experienced Electrical Engineering Technician**

Pacific Paper is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.

- At least an Advanced Diploma of Electrical (Engineering) or above in relevant field add preferably AQF Associate Degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Sound understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
- Proven skills as an electrical technician.
- Experience in providing out of the box solutions to unique and complex operating problems.
- Exposure to working in high pressure environments.
- Physically capable of performing the role.
- Reliable, honest and self-motivated.

**About the role**:
As the Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be working full time, 5 days a week (38 hrs) plus overtime (as required) and you will be responsible for the following:

- Arranging the assembly, design and layout, installation, and calibration of electrical equipment/ machinery for business operations.
- Inspecting and modifying electrical equipment/machinery to conform with relevant regulations and to meet compliance requirements.
- Preparing drawings and diagrams of electrical installations and assisting external engineers in the design and circuitry of systems.
- Monitoring electrical equipment and control systems during operations to ensure work safety and production efficiency
- Following a maintenance schedule and undertaking electrical engineering maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment/machinery when necessary.
- Conducting regular tests on electrical equipment/machinery and collecting data relating to operations (e.g. efficiency and performance)
- Reporting any issues/ problems with electrical equipment/ machinery.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
