**The Opportunity**:
**Main Activities and Responsibilities**:

- Contributing to successful project delivery in accordance with Project Management best practices and effectively engaging with Clients and stakeholders
- Assisting with the preparation, monitoring, and updating of project delivery documentation
- Project financial management and control including but not limited to:

- Earned Value Management'
- Monitoring costs incurred against budget
- Financial tracking and reporting
- Variance analysis to identify project variances
- Assist Project Manager issuing monthly invoices
- Preparing Purchase Orders and Intercompany Agreements
- Approving and tracking of creditor invoices to be paid
- Development of project work breakdown structures
- Liaising with the Project Finance Specialist (PFS) to update budgets and maintain accurate financials information and revenue recognition on projects
- Scheduling, creating, and updating project schedules to align with project and client requirements.
- Project change management including assisting Project Managers with variations and updating relevant project documentation (e.g., schedules) as project scope changes
- Liaise with Project Administration in relation to mobilisation, logistics and document control processes
- Assisting with the preparation, monitoring, and updating of health and safety documentation including health and safety reporting
- Assisting the preparation of proposal, reports, tenders, and other project documentation including weekly and monthly reporting
- Interacting with clients as project team representative
- Assisting with procurement activities for projects to ensure that all suppliers are properly approved and engaged
- Attending and organising meetings as requested to take minutes, follow up actions and record of their completion

**Preferred experience and skills**:

- Typically, 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and project controls
- Previous experience in a project management / consultancy environment is desirable
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment and autonomously
