THE OPPORTUNITY, WHAT YOU WILL LEAD
- This Events Specialist role is for a detail-oriented and organised individual to be responsible for the administration, operation, and implementation of events and courses and to provide support to the customer experience team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful execution of educational programs and events, supporting the company's goals of providing exceptional learning experiences and customer engagement.
- The position will provide administrative and organisational assistance in the implementation of internal and external clinical education programs, events, conferences, and seminars and will oversee the coordination of local and international clinical education programs across Australia & New Zealand in collaboration with the Clinical Education Manager.
- The role will coordinate logistics and event set up including venue selection, stand build, ordering catering, audio-visual, seating and space requirements, onsite management and set up and pack down.
- You will manage event and course calendars, ensuring all activities are scheduled, confirmed, and properly communicated and coordinate compilation and transportation of products to ensure timely arrival for clinical education programs, exhibitions, trade shows and other events.
- You will serve as a point of contact for travel management, for travel-related administrative tasks and coordinate travel arrangements for employees for large-scale events and also customers, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
- Attendance at events/courses to provide support and troubleshooting and create, update and maintain customer data on Salesforce, along with the set up and configuration of campaigns in Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking and attribution of leads generated through various marketing initiatives, is part of this role.
- You will take responsibility for adding leads and relevant customer information to Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry and collect and analyse post-event/course feedback from attendees, speakers, and staff.
- You will prepare post-event/course reports, including attendance numbers, participant feedback, and recommendations for improvement and work as part of the wider marketing team, incorporating Customer Experience and ANZ Global Business Unit Marketing teams, providing assistance and sharing responsibility for the completion of tasks.

WHO & WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Related professional training, with minimum 2 years of event planning/administration experience with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with advanced level computer skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word), with strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer focus and service ethics to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation with the ability to operate independently and be proactive.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting workloads with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen, maturity of judgement and discretion.
- Australian working rights.
