The **Count Team Supervisor** reports to the General Manager Cashier Services and is offered as a **6-month secondment**. This role provides a unique opportunity to oversee the operational effectiveness of the Count Department by successfully supervising Count Cashiers and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for investigating variances, maintaining accuracy in shift balances, and ensuring the seamless execution of cash collection, recording, sorting, and counting across all areas of the Casino Finance operation.

**A few of your responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations and personnel in the Count Rooms and Card & Dice Rooms, ensuring work is allocated efficiently and meets required standards.
- Supervise collection and counting processes (Hard and Soft) while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage the issuance, removal, checking, and destruction of cards, as well as balancing the Card and Dice Store and receipting deliveries.
- Assist with departmental scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing levels within budgetary requirements.

**What we will be looking for**:

- Extensive experience in a Casino count room
- Good management and interpersonal skills
- Sound Computer skills with knowledge of the Casino system used for recording gaming table win/loss, word processing and spread sheeting skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing casino operations, ensuring adherence to legal and organisational requirements.
