**Your new role**

Corporate Communications
- Develop corporate communications strategies and tactical plans for Water Corporation projects and initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders and audiences
- Advise, guide and support the business on the most appropriate channels, campaigns, events and materials to achieve desired outcomes
- Provide professional communications advice and guidance to support all aspects of the corporate communications strategy
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of corporate communication strategies and channels, both internal and external.
- Manage the development and production of communication materials, consistent with Water Corporation’s brand.
- Engage with broader SMEs and leaders to ensure communications are coordinated and consistent across Water Corporation.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver key communication activities across both internal and external stakeholders and audiences.

Stakeholder engagement
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication is undertaken with key stakeholders impacted by projects.
- Provide assistance in support of the corporate stakeholder framework and policy.
- Assist with the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
- Engage with key stakeholders as required on key projects.
- Support the delivery of the stakeholder engagement survey.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Management or a related discipline
- Substantial experience in delivering communication programs and providing advice and support at a corporate level in a large service-based organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by an ability to consistently produce clear and compelling information.
- In-depth knowledge of available and proven communication channels.
- Demonstrated ability to engender and stimulate employee engagement, commitment and advocacy.
- Proven expertise in stakeholder management.
- Experience developing and managing integrated communications and stakeholder engagement strategies and campaigns.
- Extensive experience in managing the process to develop corporate communication collateral, including the annual report.
- Managing and organising events and activities.
