**About the Role**

We are looking for a skilled Curriculum Project Officer to join our team in a part-time role (0.8 FTE) on a fixed-term contract until December 2025.

In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of curriculum-related projects. Your role will involve ensuring the successful implementation of these projects and promoting effective communication among all stakeholders. This position is vital for helping our institution achieve its educational goals and objectives.

**In this role, you will, but are not limited to**:

- Manage and facilitate project communications, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to coordinate their input into the project.
- Assist in developing business cases and project initiation documentation (PID), including timelines, implementation strategies, evaluation methods, and communication strategies.
- Coordinate the implementation of project plans and initiatives, ensuring they align with project objectives and timelines.
- Monitor project activities against schedules, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as needed.
- Provide executive-level support for project committees, working parties, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective decision-making and progress tracking.

**Selection Criteria**
- **Qualifications & Experience**: Hold a relevant degree and possess significant experience in a related field or demonstrate a combination of education and training that equates to the necessary expertise.
- **Course Design Knowledge**: Showcase a strong understanding of course structure and design requirements, ensuring high-quality educational offerings.
- **Technology Proficiency**: Utilise a variety of online educational technologies to enhance learning experiences and streamline course delivery.
- **Organisational Skills**: Exhibit exceptional organisational abilities, effectively coordinating and implementing projects while prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a knack for engaging with diverse individuals. Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues and a commitment to providing a client-focused service are essential.
- **Communication Skills**: Possess well-developed written and oral communication skills, allowing for clear and professional exchange of information.
- **Problem Solving**: Show initiative in addressing challenges, particularly with non-standard issues, employing creative problem-solving techniques.
- **Team Collaboration & Independence**: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing positively to group objectives.

**Desirable**
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Curtin course structures.
- Previous experience with some or all of the following programs: Akari, Student One, Challenge, SONIA, WordPress, Blackboard and Student One.
