**About the Role**

Our Merch Team has a brilliant opportunity for a Merchandising Assistant to join the team. This position will be assisting the Merchandiser in driving product range opportunities, improving supplier performance, driving product availability and managing stock levels, and profile, within the targets set.

**Key responsibilities will include**
- Review under and overstocks with suggested actions to maintain optimum stock health and provide advice to buying team as required.
- Analyses sellers' performance, make informed recommendations for action. Ensure best sellers reach their full potential with consistent availability.
- Manage end to end purchase order management with long term focus on reaching optimum on site stock availability; ensure that all orders are on track for on time delivery with admin through maintenance of the team delivery schedule.
- Escalate and highlight critical path opportunities or concerns to line manager.
- Review and resolve inbound issues with Supply and Warehouse teams; liaise with suppliers and buyers to resolve queries.
- Attend brand meetings when required and build strong influential relationships.
- Support the Merchandiser with excel reporting and preparation, analysis, and manage general housekeeping duties.
- Builds a strong network cross functionally across the business and in particular Buying & Trading
- Contribute and represent merch function on ad hoc projects where required
- Support Buying Team when required

**About You**
- Previous experience within a Merchandising function or in a similar role
- Organised & self-motivated, works well on their own initiative yet is also seen as a key team player.
- An interest and passion for Beauty.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to form good working relationships with internal teams and external clients
- Highly flexible to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced environment.
- Confident with Microsoft packages, Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Valid working rights in Australia
