**Opportunity Snapshot**:
- Lead the development and execution of technical projects from inception through to its final production and deployment
- The job’s primary focus will be across coding, and supporting the existing mobile apps, associated services & environments.
- This role is primarily focused on mobile app development, supporting, and working with environment teams to work on new and existing features.
- The person should be capable to design end to end solutions and provide feedback on others solution design(s) to ensure they meet operation needs.
- The person should be capable to lead and direct technical initiatives.
**Your Contribution**:
- Participate in identifying process and system improvements for the mobile team and in the API domain.
- Actively collaborate with and assist other members of the mobile team in successfully completing their activities including some level of mentoring and training and at times leading development activities.
- Undertake system analysis, solution and technical design activities with high-quality documentation and realistic work estimates as the end-deliverables.
- Undertake coding activities that comply with the intention of the technical specification, using judgement and communication skills to alter where appropriate.
- Manage the performance of team members and conduct employee reviews.
- Undertake manual and automated test activities as per agreed unit test coverage and ensure that artefacts are available to satisfy any audit compliance.
**Qualifications and training**
- Typically require a tertiary qualification in an IT discipline
- Relevant tertiary qualification at degree level
- Minimum experience in similar role.
- At least 2 years of experience managing a team of direct reports
- At least 4 years of experience in.NET Technologies
- Experience with mobile development using languages such as Objective C, Kotlin or Swift highly regarded
- REST Services and Azure knowledge and experience of at least 1 year
