About the role

As a Technical Lead, you will be a key player in leading and managing the development team to create robust, scalable, and secure software solutions. You will work closely with engineers to guide technical projects, foster a collaborative and innovative environment, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software that aligns with the company's goals. Your role will involve mentoring team members, conduct code reviews, and stay updated with industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

How you will make an impact

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions according to our development standards.
  • Architect scalable and robust systems to support the company's growing needs and ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the development and deliverables of your team, responsible for ensuring high quality and delivery according to agreeable timelines.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and advocate for best practices to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to drive innovation and enhance the company's technical capabilities.

Experience needed

  • Proven Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers.
  • Extensive Software Development Experience: Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of programming languages and software development methodologies.
  • Design Patterns Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in applying design patterns to create scalable and maintainable software solutions.
  • Cloud and Mobile Expertise: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and/or mobile system development.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring efficient and iterative development processes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Database Management: Strong knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
