Your Opportunity
The Team objective is to provide high quality reporting services to information users for the Infrastructure Investment Portfolio, Programs and Projects. Integral to the reporting services is the completion of detailed data analysis and quality assurance supporting across the investment portfolio that supports the delivery of the infrastructure Investment Portfolio.
The Role
As the Manager you will have responsibility for (but not limited to) the following:

- Lead, manage and participate in a team(s) providing a high quality service in the formulation of innovative and workable solutions for infrastructure and planning related services to internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Provide and be accountable for high level advice to the Minister, Director-General, Branch management and senior executive, Regional Directors and Principals on a broad range of issues including the preparation of responses, reports and briefing materials on a range of infrastructure, planning and asset management issues and review material created members of your team(s).
- Manage project teams in the development, implementation, maintenance and review of programs, policies and procedures to support the strategic direction of the department for a range of infrastructure and planning related issues.
- Establish and maintain strategic networks to monitor issues and changes, and to identify, define and analyse best practice approaches to implementing consistent processes with respect to a range of infrastructure and planning related services and facilitate ongoing departmental relationships within these networks.

About You
Within the scope of your duties, the successful applicant will:

- Manage the delivery of high-quality reports and information services to the Director and senior management within the Division, Department and Government.
- Provide leadership to the Reporting Team in the delivery of analytics and reporting services, and supporting continuous improvement through the adoption of business intelligence and other tools and supporting workflows and processes.
- Communicate and collaborate with Program Directors, Project Co-ordinators and Regional Managers and Advisors in the improvement of Portfolio, Program and Project data used in the preparation and publication of infrastructure investment portfolio and program reports.
