Excellent casual opportunities are currently available within our Cafe for energetic, dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Attendants, who have exceptional customer service skills and fabulous personalities.

**Southport Sharks** is one of the largest clubs in Queensland with over 55,000 members. Our facility offers a multi-purpose events centre, multiple food & beverage outlets, 24/7 fitness centre, kids club, gaming facilities and free weekly entertainment, plus a 120 room Mantra at Sharks hotel.

**About the Role **

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering a high standard of service to members and guests
- Preparing hot and cold beverages, including various styles of coffees, milkshakes, cold-pressed juices, etc (Barista experience preferred)
- Preparing and cooking food, including sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, plating desserts, etc (basic cooking experience preferred)
- Providing table service and table clearing services to guests
- Handling all cash transactions in an efficient manner, ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all times
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment
- Working with a team who have a strong Workplace, Health and Safety focus.

**About you**

**To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following**:
Essential skills and competencies:

- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work as a team
- A keen eye for detail
- High level of grooming and personal presentation standards
- Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts (the Cafe is open from 8am every morning, through to 9pm on weeknights and 10pm on weekends).

Experience and Qualifications:

- Barista skills and experience
- A minimum of 1-2 years of food and beverage experience
