WesTrac are looking for an **Account Manager **to join our growing Mining Sales team in this newly structured role.

Reporting to the Mining Business Manager, this individual will be responsible for the effective day-to-day Account Management of a key customer account, ensuring the execution of the Sales Mining Strategy. They will be responsible for Capital, Parts and Service sales as well as contract negotiations and ensuring seamless customer services and support is provided.

The successful applicant for this role will be a well-seasoned sales professional who possess exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and has strong demonstrated influencing ability, coupled with sound business and commercial acumen.

**Key Focus Areas**:

- Provide leadership and support to the sales team
- Strong communication skills
- Strategic Account Management
- Collaborative approach to working across business units
- Remain abreast of current industry and market trends
- Lead the negotiation of customer contracts and supply agreements
- Develop strategic Customer Accounts Plans and Market Share Strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Tertiary qualification in either an engineering or commercial discipline, or demonstrated commercial and business experience
- Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads, conflicting priorities and achieve tight deadlines
- A high level of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Be aligned and lead via our SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect & Customer
