We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Lead to work with State Government Department - 7 months with chance of extension.

This role will report to Change manager. The main purpose of the role is to develop and implement project or organisational change initiatives that support the realisation of business benefits and sustainable change outcomes to enable department to deliver on its strategic objectives.

**Key Accountabilities -**
- Develop, coordinate and implement change management program across relevant business projects and improvement initiatives.
- Coach, influence and work with designated initiative owners and their teams to help them to understand what change is required, how it needs to be implemented and when it needs to be done to align with defined initiative delivery milestones.
- Manage the day to day operational and tactical aspects of the change program and review high level deliverables.
- Act as a conduit for impacted teams in your area. Sustain good working relationships to support a change network across the business.
- Engage with staff and develop communication plans to support program and project delivery.

**Knowledge, skills and experience the role requires -**
- Appropriate change management qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with a range of methodologies inc PROSCI, Lean, HCD, Agile.
- Experience with change management, process, system and business implementations.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- An excellent understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
- Superior influencing, liaison and negotiation skills in potentially complex situations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering benefits realisation.
