We are currently recruiting for Disability Support Workers to provide support to NDIS participants across Melbourne.
You will work in the community providing a range of supports to participants to enable them to achieve their personal goals and build their independence.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Participants with different support needs including building improved daily living skills, social and community participation, personal care support and domestic support.

**Job description**
We are currently recruiting for multiple Disability Support Workers to provide support to NDIS participants across Melbourne.
You will work in the community providing a range of supports to participants to enable them to achieve their personal goals and build their independence.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Participants with different support needs including building improved daily living skills, social and community participation, personal care support and domestic support.
**Details of the role**
**Type**:In-home care support and Community Access
**Employment**:Casual roles available
**Salary**:$28 to $30 per hour (Based on qualifications and Experience/s)
**Location**: Eastern Suburb Melbourne
**Mandatory**: You will need a NDIS Workers Screening Check and proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination.
**Key duties**:
- Varied duties in line with providing support to help enable the participant to achieve their goals.
- Support participants with activities of daily living
- Support participants to access their community, build relationships, engage with activities of their choice, attend appointments and access amenities.
- Friendly nature person with cheerful attitude
- undertake shopping and other activities as required.
- Mostly Community Access.
**Essential for the role**:
- Disability related qualifications/Nursing Background
- NDIS Screening Clearance Check
- Valid work rights in Australia
- Current and Clear National Police Check (within 12 months validity), (or be prepared to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or be prepared to obtain)
- Employee Working with Children Check (or be prepared to obtain)
- A passion for client service and caring for people
- Australian driver's license
- Insured car
- Working With Children Check
**Desirable**
- Hoisting experience
- Manual Handling
- Able to cook
- Experience supporting people with Mental Health issues, Intellectual and /or physical disability
- Experience with non-verbal clients (Auslan Language)
- Nursing Background
