**About the Role**:
This role is perfect for someone with a **person-centred** approach who has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with physical or intellectual disabilities, who enjoys a challenge and enjoys the rewarding feeling of **making a difference** in someone’s life.

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for **an adult** requiring support within the home involving Community Access.

**Shifts available**: Saturday Fortnightly 10:30am - 2:30pm

**Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.**

**Pay rate **Minimum starting rates from $38.17 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).

**Skills and Experience**:
Experience and/or qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care or equivalent (_students currently studying in these areas, as well as Nursing, Physiotherapy, OT and Paramedicine also encouraged to apply_)
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven.
- Reliable, kind, and caring nature, with good work ethics
- Well-presented and a professional approach
- Active with average physical fitness level
- Positively engage, interact, and work with people who have complex needs.

**Requirements**:

- Current resume and 2 professional referees
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer) - if supporting U18
- Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
