The local community will also benefit from new and upgraded walking and cycling connections, upgrades to Koonung Creek Reserve and revitalised wetlands and open spaces.

- Ensuring that newly installed utilities are correctly recorded daily and updated on all GPP’s in use
- Administering of the Ground Penetration Permit process on site, working closely with engineers and supervisors in charge of work groups
- Auditing of the implementation of the GPP process (field and desktop) for compliance
- Liaising with the project management team to achieve project objectives and coordinate and review the scopes of work and direct personnel accordingly.
- Develop opportunities to innovate and streamline permit to work processes including permit preparation, approval and communication to subcontractors
- Monitor compliance with permit to work requirements in the field and give proactive and constructive advice to delivery teams on how to improve compliance and specific risk areas
- Support, guide and upskill delivery personnel in the permit to work process in the level of detail and information required prior to submission and approval.
- Proactively support delivery personnel in managing permit to work processes from end to end, including where possible preparation of permits to a stage where the permit can be reviewed by the delivery lead responsible for submission to the approval authority.
- Support project teams in meeting obligations under the FSR standard and legislative requirements.
