**About the service**:
Our team works together supporting clients from all walks of life to overcome adversity, build resilience, to enhance their quality of life and relationships, working with a range of presenting challenges inclusive of Family and Domestic Violence and Trauma. We walk with each person to understand the unique circumstances of their life and we empower them to live well through practical and reliable support.
**The role**:
Based at Tuggerah, the purpose of this very rewarding frontline position is to provide confidential, prompt, professional, and respectful administration, accounting and payroll support to all BaptistCare clients, employees, volunteers and managers. Promptly attend to duties and requests according to the BaptistCare quality standards and values.
**Essential qualifications, competencies and requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in office administration/business discipline.
- Proficiency in computer skills including use of programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong numeracy skills with demonstrated ability to complete banking and reconciliations
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work or The capacity to work with BaptistCare’s Mission, Vision and Values and its Code of Ethics
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure particularly when responding to people who may exhibit difficult behaviours or have poor communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management and organisation skills including ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, prioritise, and a willingness to keep up to date on all relevant technology changes undertaking training as required by the position.
- Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity in the treatment of confidential information.
- Current NSW driver’s license
- Current Working with Children Check
- Having experience of working for a not for profit organisation (desirable)
