Newly created role in the Insurance sector for a BI Manager with expertise across the Azure stack (ADF, Data Lake, DW, Power BI).

Due to continuous business growth, this Insurance company has created a new position for a Reporting Manager.

You will be working across the Azure stack - Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Warehouse, Data Lake & Power BI as well as leading a small team of BI Analysts.

There will be an expectation of business engagement as well, so you must be a strong communicator who can extract Data & Reporting requirements from non-stakeholders.

Still set / Experience required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, statistics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3 - 5 years) in a similar reporting or analytics role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights.
- Proven experience (2 years) in designing, developing, and managing reporting solutions on the Azure data platform, specifically using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Strong expertise in Azure ADF, Azure Data Warehouse, ADLS, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in managing a team, including the ability to mentor, train, and motivate team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of reporting best practices, KPI development, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques and the ability to create compelling reports and dashboards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience working as a BI Manager / Business Intelligence Manager / BI Lead / Senior BI Analyst / Senior Data Engineer.

2-3 days working from the office / 2-3 days WFH.
