We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter Machinist to join our team in Eagle Farm QLD. This role is a for a mechanically minded person with good attention to detail. You will self-motivated and adaptable as the job requires.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a person that is looking for career stability and a good work/life balance. As a Workshop Fitter you will be reporting to the Branch Manager.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- **Machine** driveline components
- **Assemble,** weld, and balance driveshafts
- **General** workshop duties as required
- **Assemble **hydraulic hose assemblies

**To be successful in this role you need**:

- **Well-developed** fitting and machining skills obtained in a workshop environment, or equivalent skills
- **Sound** mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- **Experience **operating manual lathes and welding equipment is essential
- **Demonstrate** a high degree of flexibility with job tasks
- **Ability** to participate in ongoing training and openness to new ideas
- **Proven** safety and quality focus and able to perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with company's polices & procedures
- **Willingness** to work as part of a team and do whatever is required to help achieve business targets
