The Disability Support Worker is responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being, independence, and active participation within the community. The role involves working closely with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality care and support services.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Support**:Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in various settings, including their homes and the community.
Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.

**Community Integration**:Facilitate and encourage community participation and integration for clients.
Support clients in engaging with recreational, social, and educational activities.

**Documentation**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, incident reports, and other documentation as required.

**Communication**:Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team.
Provide regular updates on client progress and address any concerns promptly.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field.
- English as first language.
- Previous experience in disability support work is Mandatory.
- Experience with Kids (Non-verbal) is desirable.
- Must have Car and driving licence.
- should be Interactive, and engaging wit kids.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy and a genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities.

**Working Conditions**:

- Shift work may be required, including weekends and Afternoons.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.95 - $36.95 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
