As a Disability Support Worker in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common purpose - to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.
- 2x Casual roles located at the Aspendale Social Connections Day Centre
- Availability to work during the hours of Monday to Friday (9:30am to 3pm)
- **Recreational swimming skills and supporting clients in their swimming activities are essential.**:

- Provide person-centered support that enables each client to express choice and independence in a variety of supports and recreational activities offered and during community access
- Assist clients with aspects of daily living needs while outside of their homes; including personal care, meals assistance, medications, and behaviour support
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
- Working with Children's Check (Employee)
- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Working Rights and, if applicable, an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
- Proof of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination as per Scope policy
- Cert III/IV in Individual Support/Disability (desirable)
