URGENT NDIS - 2X SUPPORT CARE WORKERS
- PARAFIELD GARDENS AREA

ARABIC speaking female workers are urged to apply

Assistance with Daily Personal Activities & Social Support work

Casual hours: 2-3 hour/shifts (daytime) 3 OR MORE days per week. 11-2pm approx.

To be shared between TWO workers, one as a reliever. You need to have a kind and gentle disposition.

Middle aged woman, Parkinsons Disease, lovely, kind disposition. Lives with her husband and middle aged daughter.

BRIEF
- Assistance with Daily Personal Activities - to enable people with some complex needs to live as autonomously as possible - supports are provided by personnel with experience/qualification. You will be providing in home personal care & domestic assistance for our disabled participant. And taking the participant to where they need to go - appointments and/or social activities.

ACTIVELY Listen to client

Occasional personal care - showering, dressing, grooming assistance

Shopping

Meal preparation

Take to appointments as required

Must be of patient and kind disposition

Medication assistance

Transport to and from appointments as needed

Cooking

Assistance with day to day living - where possible, capacity building in the participants’ life

Support to build independence and personal control

Varies in accordance with participants needs.

Other duties as required.

REPORTS TO: Support Coordinator

ESSENTIAL: Meet all NDIS reporting requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS: Disability Support Worker - Minimum Cert III in Disability/Individual Care

ESSENTIAL:
Current DHS NDIS Clearance & Working With Children Clearance essential

Current First Aid Certificate & CPR

Current Manual Handling Certificate
