Disability Support Worker (Female)

**Position**: Disability Support Worker

**About Us**:
EVSS is a dedicated provider of community access services, day programs, respite care, transport, and personal care for individuals with disabilities. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to make a difference in our clients' lives, ensuring their needs are met with patience, care, and professionalism.

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced female Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with disabilities to participate in community activities, fostering their independence, and providing high-quality care. The role requires a compassionate individual who is willing to travel and can demonstrate exceptional patience and dedication.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with community access activities, including outings and social events.
- Provide personal care and support tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes independence.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and their families.
- Travel as required to accompany clients to various locations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow individual care plans.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 1 year of experience** in disability support work.
- Must be female (as per client preferences).
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $23.64 - $57.42 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 18 per week

Schedule:

- Shift work

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
