**About the role;**

INCA HOME SERVICES is looking for experienced and qualified in Behaviours and Mental Health Disability Support Workers to join our team. As a Disability Support worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives and well being of our participants when working In-home support, Day program and our SIL houses.

This is a casual position, offering flexibility in the following locations;
- Central Coast, NSW
- Cessnock, NSW
- Newcastle, NSW

**Essential Qualifications of the role;**
- Certificate 3 or Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work or other relevant field
- Hold a current NSW Working with Children check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
- National Police check with a minimum of 6 months validity.
- Current Drivers licence with own transport and Compulsory insurance
- NDIS work screening check
- Demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable people to live their best life
- Experience in working with people with Disabilities, Mental Health and Complex Behaviours
- Flexibility to work on weekdays and or weekends.

**Duties Involved**:

- Providing personalised care and support to clients with disabilities, helping them with daily living tasks and activities
- Assisting clients to achieve their goals and maintain their independence
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities and social outings
- Documenting client progress and updates in line with organisational policies
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment for clients

**What we're looking for**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, working with people with disabilities
- A genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A reliable, patient, and compassionate approach
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
