Large scale national food manufacturer looking to add a talented NPD Manager to their team. Northern suburbs
**Your new company**
A national manufacturer and supplier in the food industry, servicing a wide market including retail and food services. A well established locally owned business with multi-state operations, the current vacancy is in the company's northern suburbs location.
**Your new role**
As a New Product Development Manager, your remit will centre around NPI initiatives and managing full project delivery and R&D activities, reporting into the national NPD Manager. The wider NPD team is quite agile, with a single direct report, ably backed up by fellow managerial peers in NPD and product innovation all working to facilitate new market offerings
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant food science related field, including food engineering, food science or equivalent
- Strong understanding of the StageGate framework within an NPI/NPD setting
- Excellent food R&D aptitude
- Detailed knowledge of relevant food standards including HACCP and food safety regulations
