The JBS Dinmore Processing Plant is the largest beef facility in the southern hemisphere. Located near Ipswich, in south east Queensland, the facility has a daily production ability of 3,400 cattle and employs approximately 1,500 people.

Cattle are sourced from the finest cattle producing regions to produce a diverse range of pasture fed and grain beef products, from commodity to premium. The renowned AMH brand, the award-winning Yardstick, the highly marbled grain fed Pure Prime and our state’s brand, Queenslander Beef and more are all produced at Dinmore.

**About the Role**:
An opportunity has become available for a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to join our training team and provide valuable coordination and support to key stakeholders to ensure all training requirements and objectives are met.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Identify the training needs of the site in both multi skilling and specific matters by liaising with supervisory staff, and utilising electronic resources such as the LMS and Skills Matrix
- Ensure that sufficient structured training programmes are developed to cover all training needs
- Ensure that as an RTO we are signing up new employees to traineeships
- Maintain all required records of training as per the Company Training manual
- Ensure that adequate levels of multi skilling are maintained in all areas
- Oversee the compilation and ongoing updating of task descriptions
- Present Company introductory training programmes to all staff members as required

**About you**:

- Expected to have background experience in the area of training by way of satisfactory completion of a recognised Train the Trainer course or similar
- Must have acquired good communication and basic supervisory skills including problem solving, together with knowledge of occupational health and safety, and quality assurance areas where deemed to be necessary
- Will have had sufficient time in the production industry to gain an effective understanding of production, safety and quality priorities
- Will be able to train employees when and where necessary to be able to implement any changes needed to keep the various departments functioning efficiently and economically
- Demonstrated computer literacy in excel, word and outlook
- Responds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
