**About you**
- Strong manufacturing experience. Would be a bonus if you come from chemical manufacturing, batch manufacturing or FMCG background
- Good logistics, procurement and warehousing experience
- Preferably tertiary qualified e.g. engineering, operations, business administration, management, supply chain
- Strong commercial acumen with strong supply chain process improvement identification and implementation experience
- Held a similar management role, likely for 7 years or more
- Has led manufacturing, logistics, procurement and warehousing personnel
- Track record of instigating and implementing improvements within a rapidly growing business would be highly regarded
- Good experience with data driven analysis, measurement of trends, measurement of improvements to aid both decision making, and recommendations to management
- People management / processes (HR) - understands workers’ rights / industrial relations
- Has had ultimate inventory control accountability in an environment with at least several hundred SKUs
- Good background with setting clear expectations of staff

**About the role**
- Manage and develop the workforce, in particular personnel from Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality Control, Laboratory and Business Improvement
- Ensure the efficiency, cost effectiveness and quality of internal processes in order to satisfy customer needs
- Ensure the respect of the local laws and safety and environmental Group Policies. Represents Mapei towards authorities, insurances, unions and in scission. general with the public administration, in the field of environmental protection, workers health and safety, accident prevention.
- Ensure full coordination and communication with other departments and head office
