We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced **Electrical Test Technician** to join our Test department. The role will include but is not limited to, testing according to test plans, standards and customer specifications. As a Test Technician, you will be required to ensure that manufacturing, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. In addition, this position encompasses the development and implementation of appropriate tests (to ensure compliance with contract test specifications and generally accepted standards), as well as providing support for research efforts while ensuring the protection of the test environment.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Accurately and efficiently perform a range of electrical tests.
- Working efficiently in a high-risk environment.
- Assisting with hazard identification and risk control.
- Complying with the policies and procedures of the organisation.

**Key experience and attributes include**:

- An electrical trade (electrical fitter or electrical mechanic) or diploma qualification.
- Three (3) of years hands-on electrical trade experience.
- Capability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Communicate effectively with team members.

**The following experience will be well-regarded**:

- Experience in transformer industry.
- Experience working in the Australian High Voltage Industry and working knowledge of the “Blue Book”.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $53,670.07 - $107,758.87 per year
