**Job Title**: Gaming PC Assembly Technician & Hardware Repair Expert

**Reports To**: Technical Manager / Operations Head

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Gaming PC Assembly & Configuration**
- Assemble high-end gaming PCs from scratch based on customer specifications.
- Recommend compatible hardware configurations, including CPU, GPU, RAM, SSDs, power supplies, cooling systems, and cases.
- Install operating systems, update drivers, configure BIOS/UEFI, and ensure performance optimization.

**Advanced Hardware Diagnostics & Repairs**
- Perform in-depth diagnostics and troubleshooting of hardware issues across desktops, gaming rigs, and laptops.
- Conduct motherboard-level repairs, GPU repairs, port replacements, and power-related fixes.
- Replace screens, batteries, keyboards, and logic board components for Windows and Apple devices.

**Component-Level Repairs**
- Use soldering, hot air rework stations, and microscopes for chip-level repairs.
- Diagnose and recover damaged hardware components, including SSDs, RAM, and GPUs.
- Work in or alongside a cleanroom environment for delicate repairs.

**Testing, Benchmarking & Quality Assurance**
- Stress-test gaming systems and validate performance using benchmarking tools.
- Ensure every system meets thermal, noise, and stability expectations.
- Maintain documentation of repair logs and build specifications.

**Customer Support & Customization**
- Provide technical consultations to customers regarding upgrades, performance tuning, and overclocking.
- Suggest optimal builds based on gaming needs, budgets, and thermal profiles.
- Assist with warranty and RMA processes where required.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in assembling custom PCs (especially gaming or high-performance setups).
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, chipsets, form factors, and compatibility.
- Expert-level diagnostic and component-level repair skills, including soldering and microelectronics.
- Hands-on experience with Windows, BIOS settings, RAID configuration, and driver troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Apple hardware (MacBooks, iMacs) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ESD safety protocols and use of technical tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair/build tasks.

**Desirable (Bonus) Skills**:

- Experience with advanced cooling setups (custom water cooling loops, AIOs, etc.)
- Overclocking and GPU tuning expertise
- Familiarity with Linux and macOS operating systems
- Data recovery and secure data wiping techniques
- Cleanroom or ISO-standard lab experience

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
