**POSITION TITLE**: Delivery Driver & Kitchen Assistant

**REPORTS TO**: Head Baker

**POSITION OBJECTIVE**: To assist in the smooth, efficient and effective daily packing and delivery of baked goods to wholesale customers and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the bakery by supporting the Baker and Pastry Chef with general duties as required.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The position will be responsible for making a safe and professional delivery of our products to customers each morning of operation.

The team member would arrive daily at 4am, assist in packing products to specification and then safely driving to assigned destinations to delivery products. Role responsible for 5 days a week and the shifts could be approximately 4-5 hours. So approximately 20+ hours each week.

As we are a very co-operative team, we would on occasions assume that assisting team members in light duties like sorting equipment and cleaning would also be a responsibility taken by this position.

Other responsibilities include: helping the baker and pastry chefs and also ensuring that excellent food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to. Including general food preparation, cleaning, organising and maintenance of food preparation areas and general cleaning of utensils and dishes some of the required duties are listed below;
- Various and regular cleaning and washing duties
- Packing and sorting finished goods for delivery
- Manual handling of finished goods
- Safe driving on the local roads
- Ensuring effective time management and professional engagement with customers

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Reliable nature
- The availability to work 5 days a week commencing at 4am.
- A valid drivers licence with a good driving record.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
