**About The Role**:
Defence is seeking a highly capable individual to fulfill a Business Operations Advisor role within the Air Defence and Space Systems Division (ADSSD). This position is designed to provide comprehensive support to the ADSSD Chief of Staff by managing the day-to-day operations of the team

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and coordinate daily business operations across ADSSD, including tasking, planning, and workflow oversight.
- Oversee governance processes and ensure timely delivery of ministerial submissions, briefings, and other strategic communications.
- Provide administrative and operational support to senior leaders, including the Assistant Directors of Business Operations and Portfolio Management.
- Support workforce management activities, including coordination of staffing requirements, onboarding, and reporting.
- Maintain oversight of divisional program and business performance metrics.
- Ensure alignment of activities across teams to support broader divisional objectives.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal coordination and business
- continuity.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated experience in Defence business operations, particularly
- within Systems Program Offices (SPOs) or branch-level environments.
- Generalist skill set across business planning, administration, program
- coordination, and governance.
- Strong ability to manage tasking and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High-level organisational and communication skills.
- Proven capacity to work collaboratively with executive leaders and
- dispersed teams.
- Experience supporting Chief of Staff functions in Defence or similar organisations.
- Familiarity with Defence governance processes, including ministerial and senior leadership submissions.
- Awareness of Air and Space domain priorities and operational structures.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process and operational improvements.
