**Requirements of the role**: - Provide leadership, direction, support and technical guidance to the DACM team to protect state-controlled roads and corridors under relevant legislation, acts and policies. Manage team performance by prioritising work and organising the team to deliver the program against clear and accurate progress and performance milestones. Manage internal and external relationships and build networks through collaboration and clear and concise communication. Builds team capability by identifying resource needs and promoting development opportunities to build skills and foster high performance and empower staff to take responsibility for decisions and resolve their own issues. Display rigour in advice on complex issues supported by clear rationale and analysis to provide clear and concise advice in a timely manner. Desirable: A current Class 'C' Drivers Licence. Desirable: Tertiary qualification and relevant professional experience in the fields of Town Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, Civil Engineering or Project Management. Relevant experience with major development projects or activities would be highly regarded.
