The Opportunity:
We are seeking a high-performing, proactive Sales Consultant to represent the Nüdel Kart and Rover across schools and educational settings. This role involves building relationships with educators, running engaging demonstrations, and driving sales through a combination of direct outreach, in-person events, and ongoing customer follow-up.
Because our demonstrations involve active play sessions with children (often in groups of up to 90 students), you must love working with children, be confident leading large groups, and be able to communicate clearly with teachers. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required, or you must be eligible and willing to obtain one.
The role includes regular daily travel throughout Melbourne and occasional travel to regional areas and interstate for events and school visits. You will be the face of our brand, empowering schools to innovate how they approach play, learning, and student wellbeing.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Attend and run demonstrations at schools, events, and conferences across Australia. Demonstrations often involve leading play-based sessions with up to 90 children and coordinating with teachers.
- Plan and execute sales campaigns, including pre
- and post-event follow-ups.
- Call and follow up with warm leads, including schools that have previously expressed interest.
- Generate new leads through cold outreach and relationship-building with educators, school leadership, and key decision-makers.
- Manage customer relationships, ensuring repeat business and fostering a supportive community of users.
- Gather testimonials, success stories, and feedback from users to support ongoing growth and credibility.
- Physically handle product setup, including transporting and demonstrating heavy products like the Nüdel Kart and Rover.
- Hold or obtain a Working with Children Check, and demonstrate a genuine enjoyment of working with children in educational settings.
What We’re Looking For
- A natural relationship-builder who connects with educators and understands the school decision-making environment.
- Sales experience in education, not-for-profit, events, or a related field preferred.
- Experience leading large groups of children (up to 90) in workshops, events, or learning activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically capable of transporting and setting up large products (Karts and Rovers).
- Preferably has access to a large vehicle (e.g. SUV, station wagon, or van) capable of transporting demonstration kits and materials.
- Tech-comfortable - able to use basic campaign platforms and AI tools with support from our team.
- Creative thinker and problem-solver who can work independently and take strong ownership of results.
- Confident and energetic personality, able to cut through noise and secure meetings with time-poor school principals and teachers.
Performance Expectations
- Sell approximately 60 Nüdel Karts and 50 Nüdel Rovers annually.
- Earn 10% commission on all sales:
- Kart = $6,000 sale = $600 commission
- Rover = $1,700 sale = $170 commission
- These figures are based on historical sales performance and are intended as realistic benchmarks. A motivated, well-organised salesperson can reasonably expect to meet or exceed these targets with consistent effort and effective relationship-building.
- Build long-term relationships to drive repeat incursions and referrals.
