Aegros is Latin for ‘Patient’. We chose this name because it speaks to our focus on the patient. Every day we strive to place the patient first by providing therapeutic plasma products they would not otherwise be able to access.

At Aegros we believe access to life saving therapeutic plasma drugs is a human right and not a privilege. In a nutshell our mission is to put the patients first through innovation.

Over 30 years we have developed our HaemaFrac process which enables countries to turn human plasma they collect into lifesaving hyperimmune products.

The Engineering Organisation is focused on the development of robust, innovative and at times disruptive solutions in a cross functional team environment which supports our companies’ objectives and the patients we serve.

**Here’s the high-level**

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer Engineering, this position’s main purpose is to provide BIM & Pipework support to Aegros Engineering. The BIM & Pipework Manager is responsible for managing the digital design and construction process. They will work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all parties are on the same page, and they coordinate between various teams to make sure that everyone is working from the same set of plans.

As a SME the BIM & Pipework manager will assist team members in understand BIM methodologies through training sessions and mentoring.

**Requirements**:
**You will bring...**
- At least 10-15 years previous experience in a similar position, ideally within a pharmaceutical company, engineering consultancy or the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office packages.
- Proven experience working with BIM systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise, SharePoint, Teambinder & Commnia.
- Computer and Software Knowledge and Skills - Expert user in AutoCAD 2d and 3D software and Navisworks, with good working knowledge of REVITT as BIM tool. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skilled user of a variety of program management tools and software i.e., Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work with a high level of accuracy under minimum supervision and work autonomously within a team environment to ensure deadlines are met.
- Self-starter, high level of efficiency, a proactive nature, desire for learning and respect for confidentiality, results orientated with a strong attention to detail.
- High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interface, interact and work with the various project areas, Management team and external parties at Project level.
- Excellent skills in multi-tasking, prioritisation, and time management within a demanding environment.
- A preparedness to learn and adopt new work practices, systems, and procedures
- Experience as a BIM Manager in the pharmaceutical industry supporting capital projects.
- A strong knowledge of BIM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Piping design skills and knowledge AutoCAD and Plant 3D, Solid Works, and other BIM models to ensure a fully coordinated 3D plant model of the Operational facility.
- Knowledge of piping engineering and Bioprocess technology, such that they can oversee the piping design, Equipment location and general arrangement and overall construction isometrics
