Hudson is working with a large government organisation in search of an Information Data Modeller (IM) to develop whole-of-government and departmental strategies across planning, governance, and reporting. Support the expansion of Power BI reporting products, delivering essential data to business stakeholders.

Contribute to key projects that establish capabilities that delivering the best outcomes.

Information Modeller - Data

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse existing data schemas and establish foundation definitions of the organisations Master Data Assets through stakeholder consultation.
- Transform business requirements into Data Assets and common models, documenting data elements and associated synonyms, lineage, and business rules.
- Maintain Data Dictionary and Meta Data Library, resolving issues in current state source data.
- Represent data as conceptual, logical, and physical models, defining relationships between rules and data objects.

Experience and Skills:

- Experience with data modelling tools like Power Designer and Spark EA or a cloud-based data modelling tool
- Previous experience as a Data/Information Modeler on a large Business Analytics and Data Platform Program.
- Strong understanding of contemporary data/business intelligence technologies and enterprise-level data governance.
- In-depth experience as a Data Analyst, Data Modeler in data and analytics.
- Ability to document source data and identify issues/inefficiencies.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills for defining data definitions.
- Proficiency in data modelling principles, semantic models, and business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with data modelling tools and cloud-based data transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage with competing priorities.
- Highly organized with strong verbal communication skills.
