**The Company**
Our client specialises in the manufacture and distribution of medical therapeutic products and are going through a stage of significant growth. The company is well capitalised, has an ambitious team and is currently embarking on rolling out a plan that will establish itself as a leader across Australia. They are now looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist to assist in continually developing the Supply Chain function sat at their head office in Varsity Lakes.

**The Role**
Reporting into the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, this Specialist will support the team across end-to-end supply chain and procurement activities whilst looking for continuous improvement opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Build out strong performance and analytics reporting capability using Power BI
- Identify, analyse, and communicate Procurement & Supply Chain insights
- Inventory data analysis and forecasting
- Maintain demand planning process and systems to improve forecasting accuracy
- Address demand related issues such as out of stocks in a timely and effective manner
- Supplier relationship management and performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews and manage new supplier and product onboarding
- Ensure master data strategies improve quality and facilitates supply planning execution excellence
- Logistics and customs planning and communication with providers
- Reporting, including supplier reports, inventory etc

To be successful in this role you will thrive in a fast paced but supportive environment. Your ability to manage stakeholders will be strong and you will enjoy providing support to the broader procurement and supply chain team.

Key skills include:

- Have a good understanding of strategic procurement, inventory planning and supply chain
- Experience in procurement and financial analysis/principles
- Strong technical skills in Power BI and associated technology
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, food or FMCG industries is highly desirable
- High attention to detail
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to draw insights from data
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality reporting within tight timeframes
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables/database skills & PowerPoint
- COVID-19 full vaccination status and certification aligned with industry regulation
- Applicants with related tertiary experience and / or CIPS qualifications are welcomed
