About the Pharmacy Department

Cabrini Health Pharmacy Departments are located at Malvern and Brighton and provide a range of patient centred pharmacy services to Cabrini patients, including clinical pharmacy, dispensing, procurement, sterile and cytotoxic manufacturing, and clinical trials management.

We advocate the Quality Use of Medications which involves safe, appropriate, effective, and cost-effective use of medications across the continuum of care. Our pharmacy team includes pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, store persons, and administrative staff.

Grade 1 Pharmacy Technicians - This is an excellent opportunity to learn in a supportive environment with on-the-job training provided by our knowledgeable and supportive experienced pharmacy team.

This role will open the door to give you the chance to develop a Pharmacy career. There is an opportunity to study for a relevant Technical certificate; e.g. Certificate III Health Services / Pharmacy Support down the track.

About you

You will have:
- A positive attitude and great work ethic with a team focus.- Previous pharmacy experience and/or previous experience in a hospital setting - desirable.- No experience in chemotherapy and/or IV compounding is required. On-the-job training provided.- Well-developed computer and communication skills.- Ability to maintain excellent levels of customer service.
