**The Opportunity**

The purpose of the Technology Vendor & Governance Manager role is to support with the establishment of and manage vendor contracts to deliver outcomes that effectively meet DXC’s requirements, build strong relationships with colleagues & business partners and ensure vendors comply with their contractual obligations. In addition, this role with see you coordinate with transformation program and account risk team to uplift the governance and vendor management framework.

**What you will do**:
The Manager - Technology Vendor & Governance will stay on top of vendor performance, help ensure that relationships and deliverables flow smoothly and also ensure risks are at bay.

Key functions of the role include the following:

- Developing and implementing a vendor management framework for developing a vendor management program.
- Monitor the vendor relationship throughout its lifecycle and coordinate biannual or annual assessments.
- Establish and continuously improve technology vendor management processes.
- Uplift the Vendor Segmentation and Risk Management: identify and stratify the risk factors that each third party presents and assess the risk. Facilitate the capture and reporting of risks on the Technology risk register.
- Oversee the due diligence and manage required documentation
- Uplift the Key Vendor matrix, monitor and report on vendor performance in the areas that include quality, capacities, systems and responsiveness _- _develop vendor scorecards
- Ensure the Technology Governance Framework and all required artefacts are embedded within the day-to-day operation of the vendor management program.
- Lead the management, control, and implementation of the operational aspects of the contractual relationship with key vendors.
- Contribute to the organisation's audits and inspections to demonstrate visible safety leadership and participation.
- Effectively manage vendor operational contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks and undertaking negotiations with technology vendors as required.
- Develop and manage required policies and procedures.

**What you need to succeed**:

- 5+ years in managing Vendor Management Framework.
- A proven track record of successfully developing and operationalising Technology Governance and Risk Frameworks to continuously deliver value to the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing external technology vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively manage technology vendor and business relationships.
