**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Centre Coordinator to join School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

The Centre Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of administration requirements of the Centre for Immunology and Infection Control and provides operational, governance and administration support for the Centre’s goals and objectives. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Centre Director, senior professional staff, the Associate Dean(Research), academic investigators within the Centre, and will engage with external stakeholders. They will work with the staff from Finance Operations, Finance Resource Management, the Office of Research Services, and Marketing and Communications, together with staff from other Faculties and external partners as required.

The Centre for Immunology and Infection Control is shaping the future of Immunology, Allergy and Infectious Disease research and working to address health problems affecting everyday Australians.

- Antimicrobial alternatives to antibiotics

- Pollen aerobiology and the immune response in allergy

**What you need to succeed**

As a strong communicator, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate the shared QUT Values in your approach to work.

You will demonstrate:

- Completion of a relevant degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, negotiation and consultative skills including cultivating and maintaining relationships across multiple worksites/stakeholders.
- Advanced written, verbal, and online communication skills including social media, and experience developing and maintaining content for websites.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise reports, plans, submissions and complex correspondence.
