**Who are we looking for?**

We are seeking a ARC Centre Coordinator to join School of Communication, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice, Academic Division.

The QUT node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) is seeking an experienced and motivated administrator capable of working autonomously to be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of the Centre. The ARC Centre Coordinator duties span administration of ADM+S activities at QUT, undertaking human resources and financial processes, event and travel organisation, executive support to the Associate Director, and meeting and committee support.

**About the area**

The ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) is a cross-disciplinary, national research centre, which aims to create the knowledge and strategies necessary for responsible, ethical, and inclusive automated decision-making. The Digital Media Research Centre (DMRC) hosts the QUT node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for ADM+S..

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of an undergraduate qualification, together with relevant experience in providing administrative support in a university research environment or similar large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated highly developed organisation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of management, staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.
- Proven ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience in event management, procurement and reporting.
